This will take me a few minutes to unpack so bear with me. I’m taking it as granted that Biden is not fit for office. More importantly for this argument, I’m assuming this is apparent to every reasonable person. (Defining reasonable person as Reasonable Man.) Those two things being true, why hasn’t Harris taken action?
I gave a number of reasons in previous posts – those were strategic and political. Those are real reasons – but they don’t deal directly with the performance of Ms. Harris’ duties under the United States Constitution – the duties she willingly and knowingly assumed when she was sworn into office.
Among her duties is the responsibility to assume the office of president when the president is unable to perform his duties. The Twenty-fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution specifies the following:
Section 4.
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.
Twenty-fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution
Harris, being a reasonable person, is aware of Biden’s incapacity. Biden’s cabinet, made up of reasonable persons, is also aware. At a minimum, the Vice President should be in discussion with the Cabinet officers about Biden’s competency.
Instead, she is in Asia.

Biden cannot hold a press conference or give an interview without showing clear signs of cognitive and emotional decline. In an interview with George Stephanopoulos, a Clinton loyalist and very supportive of the Biden administration, Biden snapped inappropriately and was unable to give coherent answers – that was what ABC aired. ABC edited that interview to remove much of the obvious confusion and verbal incontinency – and that interview was widely regarded as an utter embarrassment because had Biden performed so poorly – this before the editing came to light.
Harris has a duty under the Constitution to replace the president if he is incapable of performing his duties. There is no rational way Harris can be carrying out any preparation or exploration of that duty in Singapore – Zoom is no substitute for face to face discussions.
Therefore, Harris’ trip to China is at a minimum a dereliction of her Constitutional duties. At worst, it is an abandonment of her post for political gain. This coming in a time of war and a crisis in that war. That is the very razor’s edge of treason.
But dereliction is sufficient cause for her immediate impeachment. For that reason, Kamala Harris should be impeached and removed from office.
